Makkedah Joy Aiyayla YancyNew Vision in the WORD is led by Pastor Mark M. Marxhausen, a man with a heart to serve God. Pastor Mark founded New Vision in 1997 as he listened to God's call to "Feed my sheep", and to "Love my people" New Vision met as a congregation for about eight years before disassembling and now New Vision is an outreach ministry. Julie Marxhausen, a licensed minister, partners in life and ministry with Mark, and together they are ministering at Calvary Worship Center in St. Louis Park, as well as home ministry.
Mark graduated from Concordia College -St. Paul, Minnesota (now Concordia University) in 1981 majoring in Communications, with a minor in Latin. He then received his Master of Divinity Degree from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1985. He was first ordained through the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, and is now ordained through International Ministerial Fellowship.
Julie also attended Concordia-St. Paul where she and Mark met, and graduated after their second child was born, from Concordia College-Mequon, Wisconsin in 1987. She has a BA in Child Development and coaching. She is a licensed minister through International Ministerial Fellowship.
Mark and Julie have dedicated their lives to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They have pastored several congregations, ministering to the varying needs of God's people within those churches as well as planting new churches.
Mark currently serves as Senior Pastor at Calvary Worship Center, where he equips and releases people to dream big God dreams and then impact their world. He is also Director of Church Relations with International Ministerial Fellowship and ministers to pastors and churches through this ministry. Through New Vision in the Word International, he reaches out to both the church and the unchurched with the greatest news on earth. Julie ministers in various capacties out of their home and serves as Director of Education at Calvary Worship Center.
Mark and Julie live in Rosemount with their youngest daughter, Keturah. Their middle daughter Kaleena lives in St. Paul and attends the U of M. Their oldest daughter Meghan,son-in-love Seborn, and daughter Makkedah Joy also live in St. Paul, while their son Kyle,daughter-in-love, Janine, and their son Solomon Martyn live in Stacy, Minnesota. The entire family ministers together at Calvary and in other areas as well.
